Sustainable transitions and responsible management

Our research within this theme contributes to understanding long-term transitions toward environmentally sustainable economic and organisational systems.

Sustainable transitions and responsible management research at LUSEM

Research within this theme examines environmental challenges and transitions associated with climate change and decarbonisation, as well as organisational and economic responses to these challenges. Our research work addresses climate change, carbon emissions, and environmental transitions, focusing on drivers, consequences, and pathways of sustainability-oriented change.

A second strand explores sustainability in management and business contexts, including responsible management practices, sustainable development, and alternative economic models such as degrowth.
