Data Science Hub
The LUSEM Data Science Hub connects LUSEM students who are passionate about data science and provide support in quantitative applications and software.
As a student, you can book a financial terminal in the Data Science Lab or visit the lab during dropin hours for support by PhD students. You can visit the LINC Lab, get support material in Canvas, and you can take part in workshops and other events focused on different data science skills, from programming to data visualization to machine learning.
Data Science Lab
The Data Science Lab is located in the LUSEM Learning Hub, room B:307 and is equipped with financial databases such as Eikon and Bloomberg. Visit the Data Science Lab webpage for information about the databases and how to book terminals.
LINC Lab
The student association LINC (Lund University Finance Society) offers additional support in Bloomberg. The LINC Lab is located in the basement of EC1 and is equipped with Bloomberg terminals. You do not have to be a member to visit the LINC Lab – all students are welcome!

In Canvas you can find a wide range of support material and lectures related to mathematics and data analysis, such as Python tutorials.

Data Science Lab – dropin
When? Open Thursdays between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Where? Room B:307, LUSEM Learning Hub.
For whom? Students with questions related to data methodology, design and data analysis, AI and machine learning. Computers with access to Refinitiv Eikon available. PhD students will be there to help.
