Search for specific materials and data
Here you will find tips on how and where to search for different types of material or sources. How to find course literature, scientific articles and financial data, among other things.
Books and course literature
Search for books in our search tool Finn, which is common to all libraries at Lund University. Here you can see at which library and which shelf the book is located on, and if it is available as an e-book.
If you want a book within a specific topic, do an advanced search, where you can combine different search terms. You can also limit your search to year of publication, language or library.

Course books
At LUSEM Library, you find all course books within the school's subject areas, either in print or as e-books. In Finn you can see where the book is located. If all copies are already out on loan, you can make a request, and will be notified by e-mail when the book is available.
The loan period is two weeks, and will be automatically extended if there are no requests. You will receive an e-mail (to your student e-mail) when the book must be returned. Please note! The late fee on course books is 10 SEK per book and day.
Ask for reference copies at the circulation desk. These may not be borrowed home.

E-books
You find e-books in ePublications or in Finn. Most e-books can be downloaded, and it is usually possible to print some pages. To read an e-book off campus, log in with your Student or Lucat account.

Articles and journals at LUSEM Library
Search for electronic articles in Finn. If you are looking for a specific electronic journal, you can go to ePublications. To access full texts, log in with your Student account or Lucat account.
In our library we also have printed journals on open shelves. You can search for them in Finn. The loan period is two weeks.
LUBITO - scanned articles
Students and staff at Lund University can order scanned articles from journals available in print at the University Library (UB). The service is free of charge and a link to the PDF-file will be delivered the following weekday.

Annual reports
Printed annual reports
Annual reports from a selection of companies listed on the Swedish stock exchange are collected in LUSEM Library. The loan period is two weeks.

Dissertations and research publications
Where do I search for research publications?
Dissertations and research publications (including journal articles, conference abstracts and books) written by researchers at Lund University are collected in the Research Portal. Some of the publications are in full text.
In the Research Portal you can also find information about the researchers, about projects and about the departments at Lund University.

Dissertations
More than 20 dissertations are published every year at LUSEM. They are collected in our Book Collection.
You can search for dissertations, written at LUSEM and at Lund University, in Finn or in the Research Portal.
Student theses and papers
Lund University Publications - Student Papers
Every year, hundreds of student theses are written at LUSEM.
LUP Student Papers allows you to search for theses, dissertations and degree projects published by students at Lund University, including LUSEM. In most cases, the documents are available for download.
In LUP Student Papers, there are also statistics regarding the number of registered papers, the number of downloads, which papers are the most popular and so on.
