Otto, International Business – international Bachelor's programme
"I was attracted by the opportunity to study a broad programme with an international perspective, together with classmates from all over the world. The best thing about the programme is how interactive it is. We work a lot with case studies, presentations and group work, which encourages discussion and application of theoretical concepts. I have been pleasantly surprised by how varied the course selection is – we study everything from ethics to accounting, so there is a good chance you will find something that interests you. The programme opens many doors in working life, not least internationally, as the programme is taught in English. What's more, student life in Lund is fantastic!"
Sofia, Economy and Society – international Bachelor's programme
"Economy and Society is an international programme that addresses many different perspectives on various current societal issues. I appreciate that I get a broad base of knowledge in everything from economic history to AI, entrepreneurship, statistics, and data. Parts of the programme can be influenced by the students themselves; during the fourth semester, you can choose between specializations such as sustainability, Asian studies, and informatics. In the fifth semester, there is an opportunity to do an internship or go on an exchange semester abroad. I would recommend the programme to anyone interested in societal issues from an economic perspective and who wants to gain broad international opportunities."

Isabelle, MSc Management
"After completing my international master’s programme, I felt both comfortable with, and excited about, exploring opportunities outside Sweden. So, when the opportunity to join Rituals’ headquarters in Amsterdam came up, I took it!"
Isabelle graduated from the master's programme in Management in 2023 and today she works as Global HR Process Specialist at Rituals.
Oleksandr, MSc European and International Trade and Tax Law
"When I was comparing different tax programmes in Europe, the one at LUSEM truly stood out. The curriculum offered a strong and well-balanced mix of both direct and indirect taxation. I also really liked that the programme now includes a trade law component, which I think is a timely and valuable addition given recent global developments."
Oleksandr graduated from the master's programme in European and International Trade and Tax Law in 2016 and today he works as Senior Tax Manager at Uber.
Ana, MSc Data Analytics and Business Economics
"When I was studying at LUSEM it was the first time I was truly involved in an international environment, and it challenged me to think differently and be more mindful of other perspectives. Currently, in my team at IKEA, we have more than eight nationalities, so it helps me to communicate effectively with my colleagues, avoiding potential misinterpretation and improving collaboration."
Ana graduated from the master's degree programme in Data Analytics and Business Economics in 2024 and works today as Business Performance Analyst at IKEA.
Jakob, MSc Information Systems
“I have completed both the bachelor's and master's programme at the Department of Informatics at LUSEM, and I can say with all certainty that I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for the design and scope of the programme."
Jakob graduated from the master's programme in Information Systems in 2018 and today he works as Product Manager at Alfa Laval.
Siqi, MSc Managing People, Knowledge and Change
"It might be surprising at first when you hear the answer, but I strongly believe that the best memories from university life is often associated with the great time you get outside of classrooms. Some of my best memories from LUSEM are created during my active involvement in student life, from the engagement in the student union and different student associations."
Siqi is a double master's graduate from LUSEM in Economic Growth, Innovation and Spatial Dynamics (2016) and Managing People, Knowledge, and Change (2018). Today she works as a Manager at Deloitte.
Jaspar, MSc Accounting and Finance
"The group projects were invaluable in refining my teamwork and problem-solving abilities. Collaborating with peers from diverse backgrounds broadened my perspective and prepared me to tackle complex financial challenges effectively in a collaborative environment."
Jaspar graduated from the master's programme in Accounting and Finance in 2018 and today he works as General Management Controller at Malmö municipality.
