Get involved as a LUSEM alum

Your relationship with LUSEM does not end at your graduation. As one of our alumni, you can stay involved in a variety of ways. As an alum, you can become a LUSEM ambassador, sharing your success stories and accomplishments, inspiring the next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs.

Become a mentor

Mentoring provides a great chance to boost your CV with new skills and share valuable experiences with a current LUSEM student. As a mentor, you can offer insights into various jobs and industries based on your firsthand experience. The mentorship spans November through May every year, with the goal of students and mentors discussing everything from career ideas and dreams, to fears and mistakes. The students will be challenged and inspired for their coming career journey through the guidance of a professional, and also build their personal network with other mentees and mentors.

Become a Global Alumni Ambassador

At LUSEM, we know that our alumni play an invaluable role in sharing the Lund University experience with prospective students and staying connected with other alumni around the globe. Would you like to take an even more active role in promoting Lund University to prospective students and fostering connections with local alumni in your region? Consider applying to become a Global Alumni Ambassador for Lund University.

What do Alumni Ambassadors do?

Global Alumni Ambassadors can choose to increase their engagement with the University in a number of ways, such as:

  • Inspiring students based on your career experience through blog posts, testimonials, video greetings, workshops for current students, etc
  • Being featured in an alumni portrait or alumni testimonial
  • Being a regional alumni contact. As a regional contact, you may connect with other alumni in your local area and serve as a point of contact in your region for student recruitment and alumni staff at Lund University.
  • Participating as a panelist in alumni and recruitment digital webinars to share your alumni story with prospective students, current students and fellow alumni.
  • Taking an active role in hosting/co-hosting events in your region.
  • Assisting University staff at education fairs in your region by sharing your experience with prospective students.
  • Helping university staff with pre-departure events for incoming LU students.
