Case teaching and learning

The case method of teaching and learning, as applied at LUSEM, helps students develop ways of understanding a corporation’s problems and contributing to their solution. Working with cases in general, and case competitions in particular, provides a natural intersection for university students to engage with society and learn about business in different contexts and industries, and vice versa. Examples of case-related co-operations include judging, live cases and production of cases.

Leadership academy

Leadership Academy has been offered at LUSEM since 2007. The programme is taught by teachers from LUSEM and is offered to full-time employees in student organisations at Lund University.

By engaging with the Leadership Academy, partner companies can help future leaders and equipped them with practical leadership tools, strong self-awareness, and a long-term leadership mindset. The programme strengthens participants’ capacity to lead change, collaborate effectively, and navigate uncertainty. Partnership with the Leadership Academy enables companies to contribute to leadership development at an early stage, strengthen their employer brand, and connect with future talent prepared to lead both today and tomorrow.
