Services for students at distance courses at LUSEM

Distance loans can only be made by those who are studying a distance course.

Library account

To borrow books from the Libraries at Lund University, you need to register a library account in Finn or in LUBcat. If you borrow on site at one of the libraries, you also need a LU card.

Search and request books

Our books can be found in Finn or LUBcat. When you have found what you want, use the library contact form to request the book.

Journals and reference books are not included in the service.

Borrow and return

The loan period for course books is 14 days, plus a few extra days for shipping. Other books can be checked out for at least 28 days. As long as there are no reservations for your book, it will be automatically renewed up to five times. You can check your loans in Finn or LUBcat.

Please note that you are responsible for the cost of postage when you return your loans. The late fee for course books is SEK 10 per book and day.
