LUSEM Mentorship programme
Are you a student eager to navigate the exciting journey of academia and career development? The LUSEM Mentorship Programme fosters a unique connection between students and alumni and other professionals. It's an opportunity for you as a student to receive personalised guidance, advice, and support from successful alumni who have walked the same halls and faced similar challenges as you.
The application period for mentees starts in September and the programme begins in November and spans over two semesters. The programme is available to all master's degree students, as well as final year international bachelor’s students, at LUSEM. After the kickoff session in autumn, the mentor and mentee set their own meeting schedule and goals for the mentorship.

How to search for LUSEM alumni on LinkedIn
Using LinkedIn to find alumni is a great way to gain career insights and expand you professional network.
- Log in to LinkedIn
- Go to the LUSEM LinkedIn Page
- On LUSEM’s page, find and click on the "Alumni" tab
- Search and filter: Use the search bar to enter specific names, companies, or industries. Apply filters such as location, graduation year, field of study, or current job title to narrow down the results.
- Connect with alumni: Browse the list of alumni. Click "Connect" to send a personalised connection request. Remember to include a short, polite message explaining your connection to LUSEM and your reason for reaching out. Also, follow alumni who actively post updates. Comment on or engage with their posts to build a connection.
Join the Alumni Network before you graduate
As your time at LUSEM comes to a close and graduation approaches, you’re warmly invited to join the Alumni Network. By becoming a member in the Alumni Network, you get access to alumni benefits, invites to local and international alumni events and an opportunity to stay in touch with LUSEM throughout your life.
