Case competitions and judging

LUSEM offers case competition training for students, combining general and specialised sessions. Each autumn, an open seminar prepares students to excel in national and international case competitions.

LUSEM Case competition

Every year LUSEM organises a case competition, nine teams are selected to participate. Usually the first case is a traditional Harvard Case, where the participants do not have access to internet. Each team have 3 hours of preparation and then 15 minutes of presentation in front of the judges. Three teams are then qualified for the finals and this case is usually a live case, where the participants have access to internet during preparations. The cases are then presented live in front of the judges and an audience.

The unique cases are on current topics, with a certain focus on the management of communication, brands and reputation issues. The solution of the cases call for a broad management perspective.
