The Department Board at the Department of Informatics

The Department of Informatics is managed by the department board. Its task is to decide on the department's operations and use of resources. There are three different working committees that prepare matters for the department board.

The Management Group 

The management group prepares matters for the department board regarding finances, strategy, personnel and administration. The committee also acts as a driving force for the department's development and provides support to the Head of department in both strategic and ongoing management issues.

The Education Committee (GuKom)

GuKom prepares matters for the department board regarding education at first and second cycle level – such as syllabi, literature lists, examination, etc. GuKom also acts as a driving force in quality assurance, evaluations, and development of the department's programmes and courses.

The Research and PhD Education Committee (FoKom)

FoKom prepares matters for the department board regarding research and doctoral studies. FoKom also acts as a driving force in quality assurance, evaluations, and development of the department's research and doctoral education.
