Return books
A book return box is placed in the house outside the library entrance, you access it around the clock with your LU card.
Please note! The box will be emptied only 1–2 times per week when the library is closed.
Extended loan period on course books
Course books that you have borrowed or renewed after May 22, have a return date of September 3.
Interlibrary loan service
The interlibrary loan service is closed from 27 June to 1 August.

Staffed hours
Monday–Friday: 10.00–18.00
Unstaffed hours, self service
LU card is required for access.
Monday–Friday: 9.00–10.00 and 18.00–20.00
Saturday: 9.00–15.00

Self service
- During hours with self service, students and employees at Lund University have access to the library. Use your LU card and pin code to enter the library.
- Check out books in our self service machine and return in the drop box.
- You can not pick up course reference books or interlibrary loans during this time.
