Lund University Finance Society, also known as Linc, stands as one of the most prominent finance societies in the Nordic region. The purpose of Linc is to provide members with the skill set to break into the field of finance. Previous knowledge is not required.
Through guest lectures, research and analysis groups, mentorship and trainee programs, career forums, and banking tours, Linc aims to support ambitious students in reaching positions at top firms within the financial industry.
The Research and Analysis group (R&A) is a unique offering within LINC that aims to educate the most ambitious students at Lund University within the field of finance. The group provides members with the in-depth practical knowledge required to perform quality equity, financial, and quantitative research.
Linc Female Network aims to support and inspire women to pursue a career in finance. Their most prominent events are the Female Banking Tour and Women Business Conference.
Linc-STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) seeks to bridge the gap between STEM students and finance, providing members with the knowledge on how to combine finance with coding and technical abilities. Moreover, every semester, Linc-STEM host workshops in python, an introduction to programming for students within all study disciplines.
Linc also provides social events for members, where you will be able to attend activities such as; kick-offs, formal dinners, trips and after-work events. As a member, you will meet like-minded people with a genuine interest in finance.
