SNEE Conference

Conference for Swedish Network for European Studies in Economics and Business will be held in Lund on 24-25 May, 2024

This is an annual conference that focuses on trade and economic integration. The theme of this year’s conference is “Globalization, Geopolitical Rivalry, and Investment Protection”. 

Keynote Speakers

Brad W. Setser 
Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations. Previously 
United States Trade Representative 2021-2022, deputy 
assistant secretary for international economic analysis in the 
U.S. Treasury 2011-2015, and director for international 
economics on the staff of the National Economic Council and 
the National Security Council.

Henrik Horn 
Professor of International Economics at the Research Institute 
of Industrial Economics. Previously at the Institute for 
International Economic Studies at Stockholm University, and 
the WTO. Henrik has also served as a judge in 
Marknadsdomstolen.

Format: The conference will be held in person. All accepted papers will get approximately 30 minutes for presentation and discussion. 
Costs: The conference – including lunches and dinner – is free of charge for all participants. We will also cover costs for travel and accommodation for all people whose paper is accepted for presentation. 
Intended audience: In addition to academic scholars, including PhD students, the conference warmly welcomes people from the policy community, such as NGOs or government agencies.
