The Mentorship programme - for mentors

The mentorship programme enables alumni to share their professional and personal experience and expertise with current LUSEM graduate students. As an alumni mentor, you have the opportunity to share your expertise and experience to inspire LUSEM students as they embark on their career journeys.

Why become a mentor?

Mentoring can be an incredibly rewarding learning experience for everyone involved. By becoming a mentor, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Share your experiences, professional wisdom and talents with future leaders
  • Attend mentor training and networking events
  • Contribute to the success of your alma mater
  • Help graduates build their professional network
  • Reflect on your own career whilst inspiring the minds of aspiring young invidiuals

The application period for mentors starts in May and the programme begins in October. The mentorship spans over two semesters. After the kickoff session in autumn, the mentor and mentee set their own meeting schedule and it is recommended to meet up once a month. During the mentorship mentors and mentees will also be invited to networking sessions and get access other resources that will assist in making the mentorship a success.
