Hi Olga! You are about to defend your thesis “Globalization, Gender inequality and Firm innovation”. In short, what is your thesis about?

”My thesis is about globalization and how it affects firms and individuals in Sweden. The two distinct topics that I study are gender inequality and firm innovation and how these change when firms are exposed to different aspects of globalization.”

In three words, how would you describe your years as a doctoral student at LUSEM?

”Lund University has been a very welcoming, supportive, and inclusive environment during my Ph.D. studies. Moreover, it is a very strong institution with a handful of prolific researchers.”

What are you up to now?

”In May, I will start working as a researcher at The Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI) in Lund.”
