Mobility grants for PhD students

There are plenty of opportunities for PhD students to go abroad and gain international experience and qualifications. You can also apply for travel and research grants and use the Research Professional database to customize your search for calls for applications.

International opportunities

Erasmus mobility grants (within Europe)

As a Lund University student, you can study at another European university for 3–12 months within the framework of the Erasmus mobility programme. Lund University has agreements with around 400 higher education institutions in Europe.

Through funding from the EU programme Erasmus+, all Lund University staff have the opportunity to visit one of the university’s many partner universities in Europe. Within Erasmus+, you can either study, teach, work shadow or do internships abroad.
