Welcome Guide for International Staff
The LU-broschure Welcome Guide for International Staff has been put together in order to make your transition to Lund, the University and Sweden as smooth as possible. In it, you can find information and recommendations that may be useful when planning your stay here.
The broschure introduces you to the University, the city, and the country. It also contains practical information regarding healthcare, permits, insurance, accommodation, travel, information for families and spouses, civil registration, how to open a bank account, learning Swedish, and much more.

The International Citizen Hub in Lund is a non-LU organisation that provides helpful information to international employees and their families. They also arrange activities and provide a social environment for people who are new in town.

Lund University offers Swedish language courses for employees with rapid progression, in cooperation with Scandinavian Languages at the Centre for Languages and Literature (SOL).
