Migrant and Refugee Entrepreneurship as a Multi-Faceted Phenomenon
This seminar with Aki Harima, Tallinn University of Technology, is part of the SKJCE seminar series.
Migrants and refugees have received growing scholarly attention as distinct entrepreneurial agents. Their journeys in entrepreneurship involve a process of disengaging from their original context and embedding into a new, heterogeneous environment. The focus of this phenomenon is to critically examine their experiences across multiple levels—individual, community, societal, and institutional—and to explore how these levels interact.
