Workshop: How can I implement COIL?

This follow-up workshop is designed for faculty and staff who are ready to take the next step toward launching a COIL collaboration.
We’ll walk through the practical steps involved in planning a successful project with an international partner.
Topics will include:
- Identifying a suitable COIL partner
- Designing joint assignments and aligning learning outcomes
- Managing timelines, assessment, and student interaction across time zones
- Navigating technology tools and institutional support
- Common challenges and how to avoid them
You’ll leave with a plan for a COIL activity.
Who should attend?
This session is intended for those who attended the introductory workshop or already have a potential project or partner in mind. Bring your questions and your ideas. We will work through them together.
Please note that an initial workshop on COIL will be held on 17 June. It connects well with this one – read more and sign up on our website.
