For all employees – Sustainable Proposal Testbed

Where all LU employees can propose projects to test new sustainability solutions on campus and receive funding to do so.

Examples of previously approved projects include finding alternatives to peat in the Botanical Garden, developing workplace menopause education combined with physical training, creating new methods to improve students’ mental well-being, and formulating travel policies to reduce air travel.

A new open call is now available for projects starting in 2026, with funding of up to SEK 300,000 per project. It is important to note that the project must be fully completed by 31 December 2026 — extensions will not be granted.

The application deadline is 5 December 2025, and two information sessions will be held for those who wish to learn more:

  • 13 November, 9:00–10:00
  • 24 November, 13:00–14:00
Both meetings will be held in Teams.
