Sweden has been part of the European Union for thirty years, but still stays out of the Euro. Associate Professor in Economics Fredrik NG Andersson gives an overview and discusses probabilities and possibilities of a future Euro membership.

After thirty years as member of the European Union, Sweden still keeps to its own currency. In a referendum in 2003 the people voted to remain outside of the Euro, but now there seems to be a change according to reports.
