Committed to continuously improving education
The reaccreditation means that LUSEM continues to hold the prestigious Triple Crown – the combination of AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS accreditations – an achievement held by only a small number of business schools worldwide. The official confirmation of five more years was received on 7 July, and LUSEM's leadership is delighted with the news and proud that the School continues to hold Triple Crown accreditation.

She continues: “Our teachers bring deep academic expertise and valuable professional experience and are committed to continuously improving education. Their dedication ensures that our programmes remain engaging and grounded in both research and practice.”
A strong foundation for what we want to do next.
Asked what pleased him most about the outcome of the review, Dean Joakim Gullstrand says the reviewers truly understood what LUSEM is as a business school.
“They saw a school with a strong collegial culture, a research-driven environment, and teaching that is closely connected to both academic rigour and the world outside the university. I was also very pleased that they noticed the way we support learning quality and student development across the school.”
More about the future than the past
Retaining the Triple Crown is more about the future than the past, Joakim believes:
“It gives us a strong platform to keep attracting talented students and colleagues, deepen our international partnerships, and continue developing education and research that matter to society. In that sense, it is not just a recognition of what we have achieved, but a strong foundation for what we want to do next.”
With responsibility for education at LUSEM, Ulrika Wennersten believes that one of the most important aspects of the reaccreditation is what it means for students:
“For our students, AACSB reaccreditation is a strong assurance that a LUSEM education is high-quality, research-based, and meets high international standards. It demonstrates our ongoing commitment to continuous quality enhancement, ensuring that our programmes remain relevant, innovative, and closely aligned with the needs of society, employers, and future graduates.”
Dedication to educational excellence
As a final point, Ulrika Wennersten says that the reaccreditation reflects the dedication and commitment of the entire LUSEM community. She thanks the School's faculty and staff for their continued commitment to educational excellence, as well as the students, whose engagement and feedback play an important role in strengthening LUSEM's programmes. And she describes the reaccreditation as an achievement the whole School can be proud of.
