Build a startup as part of your degree.
In this course, students work in teams of 2–5 to carry out the key stages of the entrepreneurial process — from ideation to testing and validation of a startup project. The course is structured around the students’ own venture, providing practical tools, feedback, and structured progress throughout the journey.
You can join with an existing idea or without one.
• Apply as a pre-formed team
• Apply as an individual and be matched into a team
Currently available for:
• Ekon Kand students (Term 5), course code FEKH08
• International Business Bachelor students (Term 5), course code IBUH08
In this programme you will start a startup based on your own idea or a research-based innovation. With a “Do Stuff” approach, your startup is at the centre of your learning. Supported by individual mentoring, startup coaching and links to the startup scene, you learn by doing.

Alumni Business Angel Network @LUSEM
We are pleased to share that LUSEM is launching the Alumni Business Angel Network @LUSEM, a new initiative designed to strengthen connections between our alumni community and the next generation of student founders.
The network's mission is twofold. First, to give alumni a structured way to support, advise and mentor entrepreneurial students and recent graduates. Second, to help address the early pre-seed and seed-stage gap faced by promising student ventures, in cases where alumni are interested in investing their own capital.
From the outset, we see this as a community-driven network, shaped by the interests, experience and engagement of our alumni. As the network takes shape, we plan to create a small number of high-quality touchpoints during the year.
Participation in the network requires no fixed investment. Alumni choose how they like to contribute time and advice.
