The programme is organised into two different tracks. When applying to the programme, you also select which track you are specialising in depending on your ambitions and interests.
Entrepreneurship: New Venture Creation
The Entrepreneurship: New Venture Creation track offers you an opportunity to be fully involved as an entrepreneur in the start-up process, from idea selection and team composition to venture formation, which enables you to gain real experience in starting up a new business.
To support your entrepreneurial actions, the programme provides a number of guest lecturers who are experts in different areas related to new venture creation. In addition, you will be part of our mentorship programme where you as a student are matched with an experienced mentor who supports you to advance in your entrepreneurial career.
Through four courses, you will acquire a thorough grounding in theories that guide you through the venturing process, including opportunity recognition, entrepreneurial marketing, entrepreneurial finance, and new venture growth.
Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation
The Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation track is designed for you who want to work with business development and innovation in established businesses. You will learn how opportunities for renewal and innovation are identified, developed, organised and implemented in the organisation.
During the programme, you will gain practical experience as an intern at a progressive company. At the company, you will be engaged in a business development project together with your mentor and the current staff. To support your actions, you will first have acquired a thorough grounding in theories related to entrepreneurship and innovation in established companies.
This track includes courses covering different aspects of corporate entrepreneurship and innovation management. A key component is the Internship (30 credits) in which you work as a member of a host organisation running a project to renew and innovate within the established business.
