University of California
- Bachelor’s level students only
- Application: 15 October–1 November
The applications are processed by the UC Study Center at Lund University, and involves a separate application – read more about the application process at lu.se. If you choose to do a one-year exchange, you may have to contact your programme coordinator to make a new study plan, since you will postpone the original study plan by one year.

Some of our partner universities offer summer courses in the framework of the exchange. This means that students nominated by LUSEM are exempted tuition fees.
Application round for spare exchange places
- Bachelor's level students

Places that have not been filled in the regular round of applications (or that have become vacant after another student has given up their place) will be announced during the round of applications for spare places. This round is only open to students who have not received a place or who have declined an awarded place.
