Two new PhD positions

We are happy to announce that we got funding for two new doctoral student positions at the Department of Economic History, Lund University, Sweden.

Doctoral student in Economic History – A life course approach to epidemics
The PhD position is linked to the research project “Pathogens, Pandemics and the Development of Nordic Societies”. The PhD student will work in this project in collaboration with other project members.
Doctoral student in Economic History – Demography in the Middle East
The position is part of the research program Middle East in the Contemporary World at the Centre for Advanced Middle Eastern Studies. The PhD project and the doctoral dissertation must be focused on the demography of the Middle East, and the PhD candidate will have double institutional affiliations with the Centre for Advanced Middle Eastern Studies at Lund University (CMES) and the Department of Economic History.
