Lund University School of Economics and Management is an EQUIS accredited member of EFMD since 2001, having met the high standards of the European Quality Improvement System. The fundamental objective of EQUIS, linked to the mission of EFMD, is to raise the standard of management education worldwide. In addition, Lund University is a member of the prestigious research-intensive university networks Universitas 21 (U21) and the League of European Research Universities (LERU). We are also a member of the European Utrecht Network, and regional networks in North America, Africa, in Southeast Asia, and in the Nordic countries such as the Øresund University Network. Lund University is also a coordinator and partner in several EU programmes and other European and Scandinavian projects.
The School is actively working as the academic partner to ESAMI (Eastern and Southern African Management Institute) in the establishment and operations of the Trade Policy Training Centre in Africa (trapca), located in Arusha, Tanzania. We are a member of the World Association for Case Method Research and Application (WACRA), and a founding member of their International Journal of Case Method Research & Application. Our active participation in WACRA is closely related to our firm commitment to case teaching.
