Coronavirus and library services
We have strengthened the LUSEM library’s digital services for students and researchers due to the coronavirus. The physical library is open, but with limited staffed hours and study places.

Please note, only students and researchers at Lund University have access to the library. Enter with your LU card.
Some hours the library is unstaffed. We are happy to help you via e-mail or telephone. You can also use the chat service on the library front page.
The library furniture are arranged in order to safeguard the 2 metres distance requirements between each study place. Do not move tables and chairs!
Currently our group rooms and are limited to one person for the smaller ones, and two persons for the larger ones.
As a student or researcher at Lund University, you have access to our electronic resources even when you are outside the campus network. Access via LUBsearch and log in with your student or LU account.
The library offers the same support as usual; help with information retreival, reference support, download talking books, research support and more. Please contact us to book a meeting.
Many publishers have made their publications freely available as a response effort due to the difficulties caused by coronavirus. You find information about open resources in the Swedish LibGuide 'LUBsearch & Elektroniska resurser':
The loan periods are the same as before. You can check your loans in LUBcat.
Due to the pandemic we don't charge any overdue fees at the moment.
If you have your health and are able, we expect you to return books. Books can be returned at all libraries at Lund University that are open. You can also return books at the University Library (UB) via a book drop box outside on the west side of the building.
