Conference on Institutions and Finance
Lund, December 6, 2013
This conference brought together a small circle of prominent economists for a seminar to discuss the interplay between national and international institutional arrangements and development of the financial sector. The recent financial crisis and its aftermath have highlighted the importance of both formal and informal institutions in the financial sector for the real economy.
Karolina Ekholm (Swedish Riksbank), Lars Jonung (Lund University), Donato Masciandaro (Bocconi University), Alan Morrison (Oxford University), and Jesper Rangvid (Copenhagen Business School) presented their recent research and initiated fruitful discussion in the audience.
The event was co-organized by the research group for Comparative Institutional Analysis and Knut Wicksell Center for Financial Studies.
Location: Crafoordsalen, Lund University School of Economics and Management
