Career Services at LUSEM

Career Services offer LUSEM students:

• Individual career coaching
• Workshops on different career related topics such as Preparing for the Job Interview, Personal branding and networking, Professional skills development etc.
• Drop-in to review CV and Linkedin-profile
• Administrate pre-approved internships with the schools corporate partners

Career Services support, inspire, and prepare students for the job market. Our aim is to ensure that students are ready to take the next step after their studies by understanding their strengths, personal qualities, and the range of career paths available to them.

To open doors to different career paths Career Services arrange possibilities for students to meet with company representatives and alumni. In October each year we arrange a Career Fair at LUSEM in collaboration with LundaEkonomerna. We also organize Round table discussions where students meet representatives from a specific industry to get a better understanding about what a career in that industry can be like.

Career Services also focus on sustainable career development and use the Inner Development Goals, IDG-framework as a tool. We strive to contribute to our students’ professional development by helping them recognize their own capabilities and empowering them to use these to make a meaningful impact.

Career Services is part of External Relations and work in close collaboration with the Alumni coordinator.
