Standardisation: A Tool for Businesses & Society in the EU
In today’s interconnected global landscape, standards play a pivotal role in shaping industries, technology, and international relations. They govern everything from the safety of our everyday products to the interoperability of cutting-edge technologies. For businesses, governments, and consumers, understanding the intricate web of standards is essential to thrive in a rapidly evolving world. In 2022 the EU set out a strategy on standardisation, as part of the new industrial strategy. This conference aims to shed light on some key dimensions of this standard-driven world, with a particular focus on the European context.
