Doctoral Student Day 2024

We are excited to be able to provide you with a with a promising programme for the Doctoral Student Day on December 10th, with focus on non-academic careers.

The programme includes presentations by potential employers, short research presentations by new and soon to become LUSEM PhDs, and recent alumni with experience from a non-academic career. The program also includes Q&A sessions with employers and alumni.

Take this opportunity to learn more about non-academic careers and recent PhD student research outside your home department! You will also get the opportunity to meet with representatives of employers, alumni and PhD students at the faculty during breaks and lunch.

Even if you are primarily interested in an academic career, try participating to learn more about the alternatives! For the school, it is also important to show employers that we do care about the world outside academia.
