When the application period closed on 15 April, 71,404 people had applied for the University’s courses and study programmes. Compared with the same period last year, this represents a 1.4% decrease in the total number of applicants and a 3.3% decrease in the number of first-choice applicants. Of this year’s applicants, 62.6% are women and 37.4% are men. Nationwide, the number of applicants has risen by 3%.
