The Canvas learning platform has experienced a security incident affecting several higher education institutions in Sweden and internationally. Instructure, the company that owns Canvas, has now confirmed that Lund University is one of the institutions affected.
Instructure states that a malicious actor has gained unauthorised access to certain personal data in Canvas. According to Instructure, the breach has been stopped and they are currently investigating what data may have been leaked.
