Following the withdrawal of another candidate, Erik Renström was put forward to the Electoral College as the candidate for the post of Vice-Chancellor. The Electoral College met on 18 May and held a vote. Following the meeting, Johan Östling, chair of the Electoral College, stated that the Electoral College proposes Erik Renström as Vice-Chancellor of Lund University for the next three-year term.
