What is LUSEM Case Competition?
LUSEM Case Competition (LCC) is an interactive case-competition for students, by students, and with students’ learning and training in focus. The cases are presented live and solved in by the audience and competing teams. LUSEM Case Competition uniquely covers the entire process of case-based teaching- and learning. The real-life cases are written by students under the supervision of case-faculty. The unique cases are on current topics, with a certain focus on the management of communication, brands and reputation issues. The solution of the cases call for a broad management perspective.
During the competition, student teams present their own live-cases to the audience including business representatives, faculty, and fellow students. The management decision in the case is discussed by the audience leading up to a recommendation. During the audience’s case-solving, two competing student-teams are – simultaneously and separately – prepare their solutions. The competing teams present their solution and recommendation to the audience and a panel of judges. The case-evening reaches its final when the case-writing students present the case-company’s management real-life decision. The different solutions and recommendations are discussed by the audience. A panel of faculty, business representatives, and student judges selects the evening’s winning team. Writing, Presenting, Solving. Simple as that.

You will get the opportunity to put all your abilities to use in practice while sharing your knowledge and experience in a friendly learning environment.
Who will participate?
Writing/Presenting – Brand Management students
Solving – Four teams of four students, consisting of students from LUSEM or other universities
