Master Your Studies with AI: Smarter Techniques for Better Results, part I
Join us for a two-part event focused on leveraging AI for smarter, more effective studying. Lecturer and director of studies at Department of Informatics, Björn Svensson, will give the two lectures. You can choose between participating on site or online.
AI Study Hacks: Smarter Studies with LLMs
How do Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT and Gemini work? Why can they craft novels, news articles, and computer code, yet struggle with something as simple as the game hangman?
In this session, we’ll break down the inner workings of LLMs in an approachable way, making their strengths and limitations clear. Whether you’re studying business, economics, or information systems, you’ll gain practical tips on how to effectively use LLMs for your studies—plus insights on when to exercise caution or avoid them. We’ll also dive into why these models excel at complex tasks but sometimes stumble on the basics, giving you a clearer understanding of their capabilities.
Welcome to sign up!
The second part will be given 1 November 14–16. You have to sign up to both events separaretly.
