KICK OFF - New book club

Read & Meet is a free book club for students at Lund University, organised by the university libraries.
This semester, we will read a book in English and meet throughout the semester to talk about it. The book we're going to read is ALL MY LOVE by Agnes Lidbeck.

We will meet twice, first at a kick-off where you will receive your copy of the book, followed by a group discussion with fika! The book club will finish with an author talk, which will be announced at a later date.

The Kick off is on the 6th of October, Drop-in between 16:00 - 18:00  

Come by to pick up your book and meet the Read & Meet team. We will be there to welcome you, answer questions and tell you more about the book club.

To join the book club, register using the registration form. When registering, you will also choose one of the available group discussion sessions.
You will receive an email confirming your place together with and an invitation to the kick-off. Registration is required, as places are limited.

Petra and Johannes seem made for one another. A lawyer and a doctor. Well brought up, ambitious. Their friends Julia and Axel are different – from them, and from each other. Julia fights for her convictions. Axel manoeuvres his way to political power. Desire moves like an undertow between them all, dangerous and destabilising. Inconvenient truths are buried, but can only stay that way for so long. Meanwhile, the country around them changes. Laws tighten. Freedoms are curtailed. People begin to disappear. The personal and the political collide. It is easier, at first, to look away than to let the facts in. Until they arrive at the door.
