 n. It can undermine consumer trust in the food industry and distort compet
 ition and market conditions for producers and other actors throughout the 
 supply chain. In turn\, these effects may weaken the conditions for food s
 ecurity and preparedness.The conference aims to bring together researchers
  and practitioners to build networks and foster further studies on the nat
 ure and extent of food fraud in Sweden\, the presence of questionable acto
 rs as suppliers to the public sector\, and how public procurement can be u
 sed as a tool to prevent and combat this type of crime.The conference will
