LUSEM Alumni Network together with SEB invites you to attend an evening of discussion and networking in Stockholm at the SEB HQ in Solna.

We will start the evening with some mingling and a welome speach by our host Christoffer Malmer, Head of SEB Embedded and LUSEM alumnus, who will introduce SEB Embedded and how financial services are becoming an increasingly important component of tomorrow's competitiveness.

Later on, we welcome the Founder and CEO of Stella Futura AB, Ulrika Tornerefelt, and Fredrik Josefsson, Head of Entrepeneurs and High Growth at SEB.

They will discuss the challenges of growth and how Stella Futura has successfully overcome growth barriers and is now building a scale-up in the field of energy transition, where financial services play a crucial competitive advantage.

Meet Christoffer Malmer, Head of SEB Embedded


Mr. Malmer joined SEB in 2011 as Head of Financial Institutions Coverage, before becoming a member of the Group Executive Committee as Head of the Wealth Management division in 2015. In 2016, he became Co-Head of the Corporate & Private Customers division within SEB. In April 2018 Mr. Malmer was appointed Head of the SEBx-project, a strategic initiative to explore new technologies and new customer offerings. This project has resulted in a new business unit called SEB Embedded. Prior to joining SEB, Mr. Malmer spent nine years at Goldman Sachs in London where he in 2007 was made Managing Director and head of the European Equity Research Team, covering Financial Institutions. In 2009, he moved back to Sweden and spent two years advising Arrowgrass Capital Partners on investments in Financial Institutions. Christoffer Malmer earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Business Administration at Lund University School of Economics and Management in 2000.


Meet Ulrika Tornerefelt, Founder and CEO of Stella Futura


Stella Futura is a Swedish company that accelerates the green transformation by implementing solar and batteries to commercial and industrial segments combined with unique blended finance models. Stella Futuras main markets are currently Sweden/the Nordics and Africa. Stella Futura is one of the market leaders in Sweden on implementing industrial batteries and was the first company in the country to introduce leasing of batteries. Stella Futura is currently growing heavily both in Sweden and internationally, expanding into new countries and markets in both Europe and Africa. Ulrika can be seen on arenas such as Africa Climate Summit, Mc Kinsey Green Business Building, DI Proptech and SvD Energy Summit.
