Alumni Breakfast: Lund University’s initiatives in total defence
Would you like insights into current research from the Lund University School of Economics and Management (LUSEM) and the Faculty of Engineering (LTH), while networking with fellow alumni? Then Research over Breakfast is for you! On 9 April, we invite you to this spring’s alumni breakfast, where we will present LUPREP – Lund University Centre for Preparedness and Resilience.
LUPREP is a university-wide initiative that brings together research, education and collaboration in the fields of total defence, preparedness and societal resilience. It is a collaboration between eight of the university’s faculties and is based at Campus Helsingborg. The Centre builds on 15–20 years of established networks in risk management, crisis preparedness and psychological defence, representing a significant step towards strengthening Lund University’s role within Sweden’s total defence system. Its focus areas include supply preparedness, psychological defence, critical infrastructure, drone technology, legal and administrative issues, and strategic communication.
The alumni breakfast will be hosted by Johan Bergström, Professor of Risk and Safety at LTH and Director of LUPREP, together with Martin Blom, Associate Professor of Strategy at the School of Economics and Management and affiliated researcher at LUPREP.
The event is a collaboration between the alumni offices at LUSEM and LTH and is open to alumni from both faculties.
Please note, the event is held in Swedish.
