The research policy bill

The bill shows how the government's priorities in regards of research. Mats Benner, professor in research policy shares his comments on the upcoming bill.

The good news is that we will see an increase in funding over the next four years. Priorities are going to be within Artificial Intelligence, communication technologies, security, but also welfare. A point of criticism is that funding will be primarily through grant competition, so no significant increases in university funding.
